Jaipur Duvet Cover by Echo Design

I can’t say enough  about the Jaipur Duvet Cover from Echo.  Not only does it look beautiful,  but it also feels just as good as it looks. The colors are vibrant and look exactly the way it is shown in the picture.  It completely brightens up a room.

I test-washed the duvet before I put it up and the color didn’t fade.  Echo makes products which are high-quality and long-lasting.   The material is very soft and very smooth to the touch; it feels like a much higher thread count than 400.   Also, the colors are very versatile and depending on the season or your mood you can give it more of a fall warmth look by accenting it with red and yellows, or breezy summer look by accenting it with white and aqua. The only thing you might want to remember is that the duvet is slightly larger than most standard queen size duvet, but I’d rather have a slightly larger duvet cover than a smaller one.  I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to liven up and bring some color and comfort to their bedroom.

If you are looking for an electric blanket that is not too cold, not too hot, but just right, we have a recommendation for you.

Sunbeam has been making quality textiles for 100 years.  Their recent edition electric blankets are some of the best available on the market today.  They are well-designed and reasonably priced.  They also come in a variety of types and styles.

Since we have a propensity for luxury, we chose to test two blankets which are the most luxurious available by Sunbeam.  Here are our findings:

RoyalMink Blanket

This blanket lives up to its name. When our reviewers tried it, it enshrouded us in luxurious warmth. It comes with pre-warming features and regulated heating for each side of the bed in Queen and King sizes.

The RoyalMink blanket also functions as a great, comfortable blanket even in non-Winter weather.

We also tested the Microplush Heated Blanket.  It is a great all-around blanket as well.  It is plush and combines the softness of fleece with electric warmth.

What we liked best about these blankets: they produce a gentle warmth which is cozy and warm but not too hot.

Now, here’s the worst.  Absolutely do not buy any blanket made by WestPoint Stevens.  They have recently launched renamed as WestPoint Home, but their blankets are dangerous!  We recently tested a supposed luxury blanket by WestPoint Home.  During testing, the blanket put forth electric shockwaves.  Our reviewers could actually feel the electric currents surging from the blanket during testing!
